Come and join us for camp at the petting zoo! Our days will be spent learning about and interacting with many different animals. We have horses, goats, sheep, ducks, chickens, turkeys, mini pigs, a tortoise and many other exotic and pocket pets!
We can collect eggs, feed the pigs, go behind the scenes of the petting zoo and learn what the animals eat and how we care for them.
We may also take a nature hike or scavenger hunt, create some artwork, cook or play in our sprinklers. Kids will also have a chance to ride a horse – on a lead-line – if they want. Helmets required and provided.
I am the director and my name is Susan Elliott. I am the mother of 5 girls. Two of my daughters are camp counselors and the youngest two (10 and 12) are campers! I have a degree in rehabilitative services and worked as a registered therapeutic riding instructor and a therapeutic foster parent for 20+ years. This is my 10th year as a camp director. My camp is laid back and kids can choose activities – no strict schedule because that can be boring. We want everyone to have fun!
Cost: $250 per week. A deposit of $100 is needed to reserve your spot. You may pay that through the website – a fee of $3 is added to cover my charge from Paypal. Checks can be sent to 8210 E Woodland Rd. 85749. Thank you!
What to bring:
Lunch, snack, hat, sunscreen, change of clothes, closed toe shoes and a towel.
Please do not bring electronic devices. They are distracting to other campers. Kids will be given the opportunity to take pictures.
